PSA: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, 8.0, And 10.1 Are Now Available In The US

If you're in the market for a tablet and don't fancy the Nexus line, Samsung is now asking for your money. The new Galaxy Tab 3 devices are for sale in the US. These devices come in 7, 8, and 10.1-inch versions. The pricing is a bit on the high side, but this is what the Korean mobile giant is doing, for better or worse.

The recap, the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is rocking a 1024x600 resolution LCD display, a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, and 1GB of RAM. It will cost $199.99 with 8GB of built-in storage (plus microSD card). The 8.0 is a small step up with a 1280x800 screen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage on the base model. This one starts at $299.99. The 10.1 is a bit of a departure this is Samsung's first Intel-based slate. It has a 1.6GHz dual-core Atom Z2560 (CloverTrail+), 1GB of RAM, and a disappointing 1280x800 resolution LCD. This one starts at $399.99 with 16GB of storage.

The 7.0 is running Android 4.1.2, but the larger units have 4.2 at launch. It's unclear if there will be an update for the 7.0. Additionally, all these tablets have physical buttons like the Galaxy S4. Odd, but again, that's just how Samsung is rolling this generation. If you're interested, these units are for sale in white and "gold-brown" (or as I like to call it, gross) from a variety of retailers. Amazon links below.
