Britney Spears Alien Leaks Ahead of Official Release

Not even Britney Spears is immune to the occasional music leak but, in her case, it seems that her people are moving fast to pull all unofficial versions of her songs offline. An unfinished version of “Alien” emerged online some hours ago, way ahead of the official release.

“Alien” is one of the tracks included on Britney’s upcoming album “Britney Jean” and is produced by William Orbit. It was initially rumored to feature Lady Gaga, but that may turn out not to be the case.

Huffington Post is the only one who still has it, because everywhere else, “Alien” is no longer available. That happens because, as William Orbit explains on his Facebook, the song is not the finished version.

“It's the wrong version of 'Alien' that& #039;s out there. Right song, but had wrong chorus notes, (now fixed) on THE version,” he says.

Even so, this version still helped fans get a taste of what’s to come with “Britney Jean” and, judging by their reactions online, they are psyched. Many comment that, if the unfinished version of the song sounds so amazing, the official one can only be twice as great.
