Canonical Patches Eleven Linux Kernel Vulnerabilities for Ubuntu 12.10


Canonical has announced on November 8, 2013, that a new kernel update is available for its Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) operating system, fixing eleven vulnerabilities found in the Linux kernel packages by various developers.

These are the eleven kernel vulnerabilities that affect the Ubuntu 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal) Linux distribution: CVE-2013-0343, CVE-2013-2888, CVE-2013-2889, CVE-2013-2892, CVE-2013-2893, CVE-2013-2895, CVE-2013-2896, CVE-2013-2897, CVE-2013-2899, CVE-2013-4350, and CVE-2013-4387.
