The Next Windows Imagined in a New Concept

Windows 9 is already a work in progress at Microsoft, but if you're curious to find out some ideas regarding the user interface of the upcoming OS version, there are plenty of concepts out there that envision the upgraded look of the platform.

This concept created by EinGrunt is based on the same flat look brought to us for the first time by Windows 8, but takes it further with larger icons and a revamped System Tray icon area.

At the same time, the Charms bar has been improved with more information provided in the same screen, including volume, brightness, and battery level, and Wi-Fi signal.

What's more, the same Charms bar now holds notifications, including alerts for new emails and games running in the Modern UI of the operating system.

Micros oft, on the other hand, is expected to stick to the existing look of Windows with a few exceptions, as people familiar with the matter claim that a Start Menu could be brought back in Windows 9.
