The nation continues to mourn for those who lost their lives in the recent shooting at the Newtown, Connecticut elementary school, but comedienne Victoria Jackson is using the tragedy to promote an agenda.
The former Saturday Night Live has taken to social media to say that President Obama should not have wept for the 20 children who died in the attack – not unless he’s also willing to weep for the millions of children killed through abortion every year.
“My friend Jim Riley posted: ‘Wasn't the Connecticut killer just doing what abortionists do every day? It's a wonder we don't have more 20 year old ‘dads’ doing what women and doctors have been an accomplice to for years in America. When you forget the TEN COMMANDMENTS, people, THIS is what you get’,” Jackson wrote on her Facebook page.
The Daily Mail has screenshots of this post, as well as of another in which she goes straight for the jugular of the President.
“Obama dramatically wiped a tear [as he spoke of the slain children]. YEAH OBAMA. SAME AS THE MILLION BABIES YOU HAD ABORTED THIS YEAR. ARE YOU CRYING FOR THEM?!” Jackson writes.
She’s referring to the speech Obama held right after he was briefed about the tragedy at the Sandy Hook Elementary School, which resulted in the death of 20 children, 6 adults and the gunman, who took his own life after he was done.
In it, the President addressed the issue as a parent and was at one point so overwhelmed with emotion that he was choking on tears and could hardly continue speaking.
Obviously, Jackson believes Obama should do the same for the children for whose death he is responsible for supporting abortion.
