Must See: Pre-Production Sales Trailer for Squirrels, a Movie About Killer Squirrels

Death can come from the strangest places. You have to remember this when watching the video above, which is a pre-production sales trailer for a movie called “Squirrels.”

As you must have guessed already, it’s about killer squirrels. Try not to laugh.

While the trailer makes it look like the final product will be something of a comedy or at least a black comedy, a closer look at the details available online confirms the exact opposite applies.

The story centers on “a town under attack by flesh-eating squirrels after a natural gas company buys up a town and destroys their food chain through environmental destruction.”

Produced by Timur Bekmambetov, whose credits include “Wanted” with Angelina Jolie and James MacAvoy, “Squirrels” is based on a script by Daniel Antoniazzi a nd Ben Shiffrin.
