Terminator Actor Edward Furlong Arrested for Domestic Violence Again

Edward Furlong, the actor who rose to fame as the kid in “Terminator 2” and “American History X,” is in trouble with the law again. The star has been arrested and is currently in custody on suspicion of domestic violence.

As OMG! Yahoo notes, this is Furlong’s third time in custody in as many months after allegedly assaulting the same woman.

Her identity has not been revealed to the press but it is believed that she is Fu rlong’s live-in girlfriend.

“The ‘Terminator 2’ star was arrested at 5:45 a.m. Sunday morning after Los Angeles police were summoned to an apartment in West Hollywood for a domestic disturbance – marking his third time in handcuffs in three months for assaulting the same girlfriend!” OMG! writes.

“He was also taken into custody on November 21 and previously at Los Angeles International Airport on October 30 for abusing the unknown woman,” the report adds.

At the time of writing, Furlong is still in police custody at Men’s Central Jail in LA, his bail having been set at $50,000 (€37,608), of which $30,000 (€22,564) represents an outstanding award for parole violation from a previous incident.

“Although he was due in co urt on Tuesday morning on the charge of domestic battery, as of press time there was no word of the outcome, a representative for the Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Office [says],” the aforementioned media outlet reports.

OMG! contacted Furlong’s publicist for a comment but all it got in return was the statement that he had been dropped as a client.

Furlong has a long and highly mediated history with drug and alcohol abuse. Last summer, he made headlines after going to the police to say that he’d been robbed of his wallet while asking for directions in the drug-infested Skid Row area of Downtown LA.

Days later – and wearing the exact same clothes – he went to the police again to say that his stolen wallet had been returned to him.
