Android 4.4 KitKat Update Now Available for LG G2 in South Korea

LG G2 has been launched a few months ago with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box. However, the South Korean company promised the smartphone will receive an Android 4.3 upgrade very soon.

Well, it appears that part of LG's promise is about to become reality, as PGEgdGFyZ2V0PSJfYmxhbmsiIHJlbD0ibm9mb2xsb3ciPkdTTUFyZW5hPC9hPg== reports the G2 is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKit update in South Korea.

Earlier this month, we reported on an internal memo belonging to French operator SFR, which mentions LG G2 will get the Android 4.4 KitKat update sometime in November or December.

Another information coming via LG Canada confirmed the G2 owners in the country will be able to upgrade their smartphones to Android 4.4 KitKat in late Q1.

Given the fact the rollout of the update has just begun in South Korea, we can safely assume it will make its way to other territories in the coming weeks.
