Fujifilm X-T1 First Real Image Is Online


Today, Japanese camera and optics manufacturer, Fujifilm is celebrating its 80th birthday and with this occasion the company decided to tease the announcement of a few of its upcoming products in a document posted on Fujifilm Holdings Corp website.

Among other products, the company reveals the first image of the upcoming weather sealed X-series camera, the X-T1, and confirms the previously rumored launch date (January 28).

As you can see from the image above, the addition of a centered EVF allowed the design to integrate a new dial on the left side of the camera. Until know it's known that the X-T1 will feature the same 16.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS II sensor found on the Fujifilm X-E2.

Moreover, Fujifilm's new X-series camera comes with a tiltable LCD display, support for UHS-II SD cards and an improved fps rate in comparison with other models from the same series (8fps in burst shooting mode with AF tracking).
